ARRIBA SPANISH

Adults can dive right into a language by going to camp for a week. Held at Trinity Lutheran Church in one week sessions in June, July and August, this is a great opportunity to keep building on language skills learned the previous night… before you can forget too much! Camps are structured around language needed for traveling in a Spanish-speaking country. You can take just one, two or all three camps—whatever your schedule allows! Your teacher, Jeanie, will use role playing, conversation, "enough" grammar, and various aids to make you feel as though you really have traveled abroad each night. Students should bring their own supper, paper, pen, dictionary and verb book. Teacher Jeanie has taught Spanish for many years locally, and comes fully prepared to have you thinking en espanol!

ALLONS-Y FRENCH

NEW THIS YEAR! We've heard the requests before for French and we are happy to be able to offer it this summer. For one week sessions in June, July or August (take one, two or three!), teacher Maggie will lead you through French. Students will learn vocabulary and build upon their skills each night. By returning on consecutive nights from 6 to 8:30 PM, you will have time to delve deeper into the language. Campers also eat supper together—practicing conversation and food vocabulary. Maggie brings her numerous years of teaching all ages to your camp, including a highly successful method involving role playing, practical vocabulary and story telling. Allons-Y will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church,. Students should bring their own supper, paper, pen, dictionary and verb book. Come prepared to be happily challenged!

ANDIAMO ITALIAN

NEW THIS YEAR! We've come upon an Italian teacher who is very excited about teaching adults… and just had to offer his classes to you! Roberto learned his Italian from living and traveling through Italy, and his enthusiasm for this musical language resounds in his teaching style. Held for one week in both July and August, you will continue to build upon your new knowledge. Campers will eat supper together to further their knowledge of general food and conversation vocabulary. Roberto is also a native Spanish speaker, speaks French and English, and has been teaching various courses to adults for several years. Sessions held at Trinity Lutheran Church; bring your own supper, pen, paper, dictionary and verb book. We are offering two camps, and you can take one or both as your time allows. Join in the melodious sounds of Italian!

MERHABA ARABIC

NEW THIS YEAR! Native Moroccan Jamila is excited about teaching Arabic to the Brattleboro community. She's been teaching locally for two years, and her classes have been very popular. Held each night for a week session at a time, Jamila will lead you through the basics of Arabic —with cultural explanations and insights as well. Take one, two or three sessions as your summer allows. Bring your own supper, dictionary, verb book, pen and paper. Held at Trinity Lutheran Church. Come, enrich your cultural world understanding through knowledge of this important language.
